Mohale’s Hoek, Oct.28-The District Disaster Management Officer (DDMO) Mrs. ‘Mamoea Rakolobe has affirmed that the District Disaster Management Team (DDMT) will soon be visiting councils to verify lists of vulnerable households, in dire need of food assistance.
Mrs. Kolobe stated this in a meeting aimed at discussing allocation of partners desiring to assist vulnerable households facing hunger in the district, following declaration of Elnino- induced food insecurity by Prime Minister, Ntsokoane Matekane.
She appreciated World Vision Lesotho for showing interest in conducting identification of beneficiaries within its area programmes with exception to the areas being covered by the Lesotho Red Cross, using public gatherings. . .
