DEFENCE COMMENCES OWN CASE

 

Maseru, Mar.13—The defence in a case in which members of the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) are accused of killing three men and dumping their bodies into the Mohale Dam, has on Wednesday commenced its case in a trial within trial by leading evidence from the first accused in the matter Brigadier Rapele Mphaki. 

This was after the prosecution closed its case after it led evidence from several witnesses with an attempt to prove that confessions, admissions and pointing out made by the accused were free and voluntary…
