DISABLED WOMEN CELEBRATE WOMEN’S MONTH

MASERU – In celebration of their month, women including those with different kinds of disabilities converged at the Makoanyane Square to network, share experiences and challenges facing them with the intention to seek lasting solutions.

“I am glad to be part of these activities that have brought together women despite their different ages or disability to honour each other,” one of the youth Ms. Thakane Tséole has said.

Tséole who is a member of National Association of the Deaf Lesotho (NADL) mentioned that the event is a platform and a space for connection, empowerment, shared reflection, and bringing together women from different walks.

She considers it a moment to honour their resilience as women and growing future leaders, build meaningful relationships including growing harmoniously in solidarity…AM/BM
