ECCD TEACHERS BRIEFED ON CLIMATE SMART PLOTS

Thaba Tseka, Apr. 04 — The Early Childhood Care & Development ECCD Teachers have been told to start registering schools for recognition.

They were also informed that development partners have raised concerns over assisting unregistered schools, hence the need to speed up the process to avoid being excluded from getting any kind of assistance.

This was stated by the Ministry of Education and Education Representative Mr. Molefi Ramochela during the meeting held with the Mashai ECCD Teacher to brief them about the importance of climate-smart plots.

According to Mr. Ramochela, it is important to be self-reliant as schools so that when the distribution from the Ministry is delayed, they still manage to provide for their learners.  They were therefore informed about the importance of having a variety of vegetables in their yards. ML/TL
