Maseru, Aug.20 — Econet Telecom Lesotho has awarded certificates to the fourth Cohort of the Moshoeshoe I Scholarship during a ceremony held at the Royal Palace in Maseru on Wednesday.
The ceremony was graced by King Letsie III, the Minister of Education and Training Professor Ntoi Rapapa, and Econet Telecom Lesotho CEO Mr. Dennis Plaatjies, who joined in celebrating the achievement of young Basotho set to excel in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
In his keynote address, King Letsie III congratulated the recipients and described the scholarship as a beacon of opportunity for Basotho youth.
His Majesty stated that the Moshoeshoe I Scholarship is indeed shaping the future of our nation by empowering the brightest young minds.
