Maseru, June 10 — The 97th edition of Comrades marathon which no Lesotho runner has won in its history saw Teboho Sello finishes in eighth position as the Netherlands runner outran the rest of the competitors to the finish on Sunday morning in Pietermaritzburg.
Sello was one of the hopefuls to clinch the elusive Comrades ultra-marathon up ran race which started in Durban and finished in Pietermaritzburg in the coastal cities in the KwaZulu/Natal province in South Africa.
This is not the first time Sello finishes in the top 10 of this historic races which attracts best runners across the globe.
However, that was the best performance a Lesotho runner could get and this only means the boys from the mountain kingdom will try again next time.
