STAKEHOLDERS URGED TO SUPPORT SADP GRANTS APPLICANTS

Quthing, June 09 — The Quthing stakeholders from different government and non-government institutions have been urged to disseminate information and support farmers in different categories to take advantage of SADP II Matching Grant Programme to attain their goal of successful commercial agricultural production.

Speaking at a meeting held to disseminate information on the programme, the SADP II Matching Grants Officer Mr. Tankiso Moteane said the programme is intended to support farmers  engaged in agriculture related business to improve to a higher level not to start production and engage in business.

He highlighted that the Programme entails among others to support private investment  in productivity, 

enhancement of Climate smart agricultural technology, improve nutrition and commercialization  agriculture, and innovation.
