Mokhotlong, April 11 — Kenya Linala Mobung Liphamola held its second Farmers Market Day with the help of Thabang Resource Center in Mokhotlong town on Friday.
This farmers market day aims to promote the products from the Mokhotlong farmers and to teach the public about each member’s offerings.
In an interview, Mr. Thapelo Mothae, the District Extension Officer, stated that the Farmers Market Day is organized solely by Thabang Resource Center. Their involvement is only in guiding farmers on how it is conducted.
Mr. Mathae noted that in advising these farmers, they recommend the use of organic fertilizers and encourage avoidance of chemicals as much as possible. MB/TL
