Thaba Tseka May 27 – Thaba Tseka farmers have been advised to take advantage of the SADP II Matching Grant Program which is aimed at supporting small and medium agriculture-related businesses, farmers associations, and cooperatives to increase their level of commercialization.
This was stated by the Matching Grant Specialist Mr. Relebohile Khatite during the sensitisation workshop and information dissemination session on Monday.
According to Mr. Khatite, the project is going to look into improving low production and commercialization saying the country is mostly reliant on subsistence agriculture, there is limited knowledge of modern and improved farming practices, and weak extensions.
