FELETU RAISES CONCERNS

Maseru, June.17– Federation of Lesotho Trade Unions (FELETU) has raised concerns about the government failing to adhere to the order by DDPR regarding Chiefs’ salaries.

Speaking in an interview, FELETU Secretary General Mr. Letsatsi Ntsibolane said they are concerned about government not implementing the court order.

He explained that the Labour Court had earlier also ordered that Village Health Workers be paid minimum wages which he said the government still has not abide with.

He said as FELETU, they appeal to the government to implement the agreement and orders of court so that Basotho can continue to access services without hindrance. “Arguments and threats will not in any way benefit this country.”. . . .
