Maseru, Aug. 14 — The Ministry of Education and Training is experiencing difficulties in implementing Teacher’s Career and Salary Structure of 2019, this has been revealed by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) at Teaching Service Mr. Lesoma Katisa.
In an interview with the Agency, Mr. Katisa indicated that the implementation of the structure required over M400 million of which the ministry does not have hence a decision to implement it in phases.
He said the first face of the structure was successfully completed by normal teachers for both primary and high schools, the second phase is still in the process of being implemented, that is of acting principals.
