FORCES DESTROY UNEXPLODED BOMBS IN MOZAMBIQUE

Maseru, Nov. 20 — The Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) Contingent in Mozambique under SADC Mission in Mozambique (SAMIM) together with its counterpart from the United Republic of Tanzania (URT) conducted a joint offensive mobile patrol at Nkonka village in Nangade district, Cabo Delgado Province.

This is after the intelligence report revealing an unexploded 60mm mortar rocket and M32 grenade near the mentioned village.

According to the report by the LDF Public Affairs Office, the combat engineers of both forces successfully destroyed those explosives.
