YOUTHS DISCUSS PLANS TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE

Berea, Nov. 20 — As the impact of the global warming crisis intensifies, Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) has united Teyateyaneng youths from all walks of life to discuss ways of reversing the impacts of climate change.

According to ADRA Youths Mentor Mr. Kamohelo Thokoane, the primary purpose of the training is to empower youths with skills about climate change, its impacts and how to adapt and build resilience.

Mr. Thokoane said as young people of today and leaders of tomorrow, they understand that their future is at stake due to adverse impacts of climate change resulting in changing weather patterns, global warming, water scarcity and severe storms, hence the need to take urgent action.
