Maseru, Feb. 07 — Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane says the outgoing African Union Commission Chairperson Mr. Moussa Faki Mahamat discussed a number of issues with King Letsie III and Prime Minister during his visit to Lesotho.
This he said when briefing the media on Friday immediately after Mr Mahamat paid the courtesy call on both the King and the Prime Minister.
He added that the country acknowledged Mr. Mahamat’s significant leadership and his role in advancing important initiatives within the AU.

“His visit reflects the strong ties between Lesotho and the African Union, and we are grateful for Mr. Mahamat’s dedication to improving the lives of citizens across the continent,” Mr Mpojoane stated.
