Maseru, Oct.31– Retired Switzerland football goalkeeper for BSC Young Boys in the Swiss Super league who is also SOS Children’s Village Ambassador Switzerland Marco Wolfi together with his team arrived in the country on Sunday.
According to SOS Fund Development and Communication Coordinator Mrs. ’Mahlompho Mapalane, Switzerland is the country that has been funding SOS programme location area in Quthing as well as programme in Leribe district called Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Training (YTTE) programme.
She said that Wolfi’s visit in the country will be more focused on motivating and encouraging children within the SOS Villages to have interest in football. She said that today (Tuesday) there will be soccer matches at Maputsoe DIFA ground between two vocational schools in the district and the SOS team.
