GOVERNMENT DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH FUNDS TO SUPPORT VULNERABLE HOUSEHOLDS – TLOLOTLOLO

Mafeteng, Jan. 30 — The Administration Manager at the District Administrator’s Office Mr. Tsamaiso Tlolotlolo says the Government of Lesotho does not have enough money to support vulnerable households countrywide.  

He made the remarks on Wednesday during the welcoming meeting of the Lesotho Red Cross Society Mission at the district to monitor the implementation of Disaster Relief Emergency Fund project which is supported by the Lesotho Red Cross Society where he said the country like any other African countries is experiencing a severe climate change and majority of people are suffering from hunger and poverty.

The Administration Manager appreciated all the efforts by the Lesotho Red Cross Society through its different activities to support vulnerable households within the district where he said without their support those households could have been continuously suffering , urging them to continue to support them as climate change has brought  negative change in their lives. . .
