Maseru, July 19 — The National Aids Commission (NAC) Programmes Manager commended Aids Healthcare Foundation (AHF) for serving two million lives under care around the world.
Ms. Tiisetso Piet said this when addressing HIV/AIDS stakeholders at an event marking the foundation’s achievement in its mission to provide cutting-edge medicine and advocacy in serving two million lives in AHF’s care worldwide.
According to the Programmes Manager, she stated that as a result of AHF efforts in tackling HIV/AIDS, the rate of deaths amongst patients has declined hence efforts of stakeholders in the fight against HIV/AIDS are commendable.
She called on the foundation to continue working hand in glove with relevant authorities including the Ministry of Health in a bid to attain 2030 targets, thus by ensuring attainment of zero infections.
