WITNESS DENIES SHE SPIED ON LIABILOE

Maseru, July 19 — A third witness for the prosecution in an ongoing bombings trial, Warrant Officer Mpolokeng Moleleki, has on Friday, during cross-examination denied that she was in 2014 send to spy on the then Ms Liabiloe Ramoholi now Mrs. Maesiah Thabane.

She further denied that she ever attended a meeting where people were planning to attack Liabiloe. She added that she had never heard of such a meeting. She indicated that she never heard a senior officer making a statement on a parade that ”something big in Lesotho was going to happen”.

The witness said she did not go to the home of Liabiloe to harm her. She added that it is not correct for people to refer to her as a dangerous person. She emphasised that she never harmed anyone.

According to evidence earlier presented before court, Warrant Officer  Moleleki was in 2014 working for the Military Intelligence as a field investigator tasked with information collection.
