HEAVY RAINS DISRUPT LITS’AKAJOE CBS FESTIVE SEASON FINALS

BEREA — As the Lits’akajoe Computer Business Solutions (CBS) Soccer Festival draws to an end, heavy rains has led to postponement of the much anticipated final match between Manka FC and Likuena FC of Piting, Ha Tumo which was supposed to be played on Sunday at Mokoallong, Ha Senekane.

This comes after the Lesotho Meteorological Services (LMS) issued a red alert warning of the likelihood of heavy rainfall which may lead to flooding on Sunday and Monday with 60 percent chances of widespread rain and thundershowers.

The Lits’akajoe CBS Soccer Festival is sponsored by one of the community members and also the owner of CBS, Dr. Mohlalefi Sefika to a tune of M150,000 and other logistical support.

Speaking to the Agency one of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) members, Mr. Teboho Koloi as part of the preparatory games prior to the final match, fans were today supposed to witness the game between the CBS staff against Sehlabeng Zone Legends at 09:30 am, as curtain raiser to the battle for third and fourth position against Lilepe FC and Liphafa United FC at 12:00pm.
