Mohale’s Hoek, April. 15 — The Minister of Health Mr.Selibe Mochoboroane has on Saturday expressed his concern regarding the highest rate of stunting (Boqaqachelana) among children in the district.
Mr. Mochoboroane who had been in the district for four days, noted this when addressing multitudes of civilians who had gathered at Likueneng Ha Potsane to access primary health care services, following the Ministry’s initiative to ensure that those services are intensified across the country.
He articulated that previous reports had stated that children who are living in villages across the Senqu Valley are at a higher risk of being stunted, while current report indicate that Mohale’s Hoek is above 50% with that situation making it number one in the country…..
