Qacha’s Nek, Dec. 27 — Two men, aged 28 and 41, were fatally stabbed in separate incidents on Christmas and Boxing Day in Qacha’s Nek.
The suspects, aged 18 and 24, are believed to have been involved in the respective incidents.
Senior Superintendent Thembinkose Sibanda, Qacha’s Nek police boss, confirmed the tragedies during an interview with the Agency on Friday.
The first incident occurred on Christmas Day at around 10 p.m. in Qacha’s Nek town. The 28-year-old victim from Leropong was stabbed by an 18-year-old suspect from Tsekong. Both were reportedly heavily intoxicated and unfamiliar with each other.
The victim, rushed to Machabeng Government Hospital and later referred to Queen ’Mamohato Memorial Hospital, died en route. . .
