Maseru, Aug. 26 — The Principal Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation (MICSTI) says, digital public infrastructure remains central to Lesotho’s digital journey.
Mr. Kanono Ramashamole said this when opening a two – day Development of Lesotho’s Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) Framework workshop held in Maseru starting on Tuesday.
He added that through this gathering, the intention is to share or otherwise propose the country’s DPI vision.
He explained that DPI which is significant to African Union (AU) digital strategy is vital in that through it, the locals would be able to access services using their verified Identity Documents (ID’s) amongst others.
