Maseru, Aug. 26 — Lesotho senior national soccer team will begin its camp this week, ahead of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers match against South Africa on September 05 at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.
Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) Media and Communications Manager, Mr. Mikia Kalati said the local based players have been in training for three weeks preparing for the Bafana-Bafana game.
He said foreign based players will join the team sometime before next week, and the boys will remain at Bambatha Ts’ita Sports Arena until September 02 when they leave for Bloemfontein.
Commenting on the team’s physical and mental fitness, Kalati said they seem ready although despite the normal anxiety that is expected to come with the desire for victory, which he added is normal for anyone to feel anxious ahead of a competition.
