JAILED FOR HOUSE BREAKING

Qacha’s Nek, Sept. 06 — A Ha Mohlapiso man aged 20, Mr. Lebenya Mokake who was charged with housebreaking has been slapped with a two years jail sentence with an option of M5000 fine.

The court heard that the accused along with his accomplice witness, Mr. Moiloa Ramatseka aged 34 broke into Mr. Limpho Lechesa’s shop called Paradise Extension General Cafe at Ha Mohlapiso and stole grocery such as tin fish, washing powder, meat and sugar amongst others.

The two were said to have drilled a hole behind the shop’s wall at night. 

According to Mr. Ramatseka around June 2023, they went there with the accused riding on two donkeys and broke in with the intention to steal.
