Maseru, Oct. 25 — The Head of State, King Letsie III is expected to address Lesotho Evangelical Church in Southern Africa (LECSA) leaders and members at an event anticipated to be held in Maseru on Sunday.
This after the Pilgrimage of Peace and Justice from Modderpoort in the Free State Province to Morija. Modderpoort is where Morena Moshoeshoe met with the first three missionaries in 1833, LECSA Executive Secretary has said.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Friday, the LECSA General Secretary to the Synod Reverend Masilo Martin Phate explained that it is also expected that a number of activities that include giving awards will also be held on that day.
According to the Rev. Phate, during the pilgrimage otherwise ‘Leeto la Toka le Khotso’ that commenced on Monday has seen the church praying for peace, justice and stability within the country so as to promote oneness among the nation. . .
