STREET VENDORS TO KNOW THEIR FATE NEXT WEEK

Mokhotlong Oct. 25 — Street vendors within the Mokhotlong town will know their fate next week regarding their request for permission to remove their shacks after the festive season.

They have been warned to remove their shacks within the road reserve before December this year to allow the Roads Directorate to do its operations smoothly.

The Street Vendors’ Chairperson Mr. Matlotlo Moepanyane said they sought intervention from the District Administrator’s Office to be allowed to vacate their shacks after festive season because it is at the time when business is at the pick for them to make profits more than any other time of the year.

He explained that they appreciated the cooperation between the street vendors and the DA’s Office adding that they will however oblige to vacate.
