Berea, Oct 07 — The National Committee of Chief’s Association Lesotho (NCCAL) has encouraged Kueneng and Mapoteng Area Chiefs to unite and establish their district level association of chiefs for their livelihoods development.
This was said by the NCCAL Public Relations Officer, Area Chief Haretsebe Mahosi on Monday while addressing Area Chiefs of Kueneng and Mapoteng during their monthly meeting staged at the Principal Chief’s office at Bela-Bela.
Chief Mahosi said chiefs are ordained for the leadership roles at the community’s level, but despite being overloaded with tasks and responsibilities; they are the most marginalized groups of society, therefore the association of chiefs was established with the purpose to advocate for their wellbeing and the improvement of services they offer. . .
