TUNASAFARI ADVOCATES FOR MENTAL HEALTH SCREENING

Maseru, Oct. 07– As the world prepares to observe World Mental Health Day on October 10, Miss Nthati Phakoe, the founder of Tunasafari, is calling for increased attention to mental health screening.

Under the global theme “It is Time to Prioritise Mental Health in the Workplace,” Tunasafari is emphasising the importance of early detection of mental health issues such as depression and anxiety through screenings.

Miss Phakoe advocates for screening to identify mental health concerns early, leading to prompt treatment and improved outcomes for those affected. She highlighted that the workplace, where people spend a large part of their day, will be a key focus area for this year’s campaign. . .
