LACK OF CLEAN WATER SUPPLY EXPOSE PUPILS TO COMMUNICABLE DIEASES

Quthing, Oct. 17 — The Area Chief of Ha Danyele in Telle Community Council, Chief Danyele Danyele has raised concern over a long time plight of lack of clean water supply in the area faced by residents and children from a local primary school.

In an interview with the Agency, Chief Danyele said lack of clean water supply at Ha Danyele villages expose residents and children to communicable diseases annually during drought season.

He stated that the villagers have followed necessary steps to report the challenge to different government departments to get assistance including formal letter written to district department of Rural Water Supply (RWS) and no assistance has been provided to date.
