LACK OF ELECTRICITY MAKES LIFE DIFFICULT FOR KHANO COMMUNITY

Berea, Jan. 23 — Khano community says lack of electricity is a major challenge affecting development and the establishment of livelihood development projects in their area.

This was said by Khano Electoral Division (ED) Community Councilor Mr. Balo Sobanene during an interview with LENA on Tuesday.

Mr. Sobane said they are living in an era whereby access to electricity has become a necessity almost to everyone, but the Khano community find themselves left behind in terms of power connectivity whereas they are just within the 10km radius from Teyateyaneng town.
