Maseru, Apr. 19–Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) embarked on a scouting exercise on Friday for girls born in 2012, 2013 and 2014 respectively.
The association ‘s Media and Communication Manager, Mr. Mikia Kalati says the scouting was done through the girls U-16 inter-district tournament at the LeFA Technical Centre in Maputsoe.
The tournament, he said, was contested by district teams namely, Mokhotlong, Butha-Buthe, Leribe and Berea with the programme targeting young girls currently doing their Grade 7 as the football governing body in the Kingdom scouts for players that will form part of the LeFA girls academy expected to start operations in 2025…PM/BM
