LESOTHO HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI MEET

MASERU – Lesotho High School (LHS) former students met in remembrance of all the years they spent there and how best they can  support the school to enhance quality education.

The gathering  held at the school’s premises on Saturday, saw the presence of former students from different walks as well as from various professions.

A background information by one Mr. Siderwa Kgoroba of Botswana said this is a social activity meant to bring back memories by touring the school’s premises.

Most importantly, he alluded afterwards that  now they have seen the situation of the school in comparison to its state in their times  (1980’s), they will then know how best to  intervene and in what area as part of giving back.

He mentioned that at least 30 percent of reunion members are from outside Lesotho, indicating these are the people who acquired skills at LHS  and would work jointly with the locals to restore the school in different ways…
