LESOTHO TO BE REPRESENTED IN BUSINESS AWARDS

Maseru, Apr. 02 — Lesotho will be represented at the 2024 Africa Business Awards (ABA) to be held in Nairobi, Kenya later this year. At this competition, the country will be represented by ‘Mamello’ Special Needs Support Centre.

This comes after the school topped local entrepreneurship proposals, ideas and business concepts presentation events aimed at promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth.

In an interview with the Agency on Tuesday, the Founder and Principal of ‘Mamello’, Ms. Kefuoe Nkuoatsana mentioned that preparations are at an advance stage for her, saying the support she is currently getting from BEDCO and Standard Lesotho Bank (SLB) will make it possible to bring victory home.

Earlier, she said the plan was that the competition would be held in May, however, has been postponed to a date yet to be set for further administrative purposes.
