Leribe, Mar. 18 — In an effort to fulfil its vision of empowering principals to inspire schools and communities, Lesotho Principals Association (LESPA) Leribe will on March 27 host Principals Gala Awards Ceremony at Leribe English Medium School premises Hlotse in Leribe.
Explaining to the Agency, the chairperson of LESPA Leribe, Mr. Neo Mochaba said the purpose of the event is to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions and achievements of school principals in regard to education in Leribe.
In addition, he said the event will recognise the schools which consistently work hard while promoting quality education in schools.
Again, Mr. Mochana said this is meant to bring the spirit of positive competition in schools.
Lastly, he said this is meant to bring principals together so that they can share ideas to improve schools they are managing and enhance the relationship between primary and post primary schools to be proactive on smooth transition.
Referring to the outstanding performance of Leribe schools, Mr. Mochaba said Leribe has successfully obtained positions one to four concurrently in national examinations between 2023 and 2025.
According to LESPA website, the association champions continuous self development and professional growth for Principals.
