Maseru, July 23 — The Council on Higher Education (CHE) Spokesperson has warned Basotho about the importance of verification and evaluation processes.
Mr. Motlalepula Khobotlo said this in an interview with the Agency on Tuesday indicating CHE is on raising awareness campaigns highlighting the need for the society to take note of the importance of these processes when enrolling with institutions of higher learning as well as when seeking employment locally and in other foreign countries.
He explained that the government has even issued Saving-Gram about this issue hence even the current Principal Secretaries employed in government today have undergone the verification process.
According to the Spokesperson, he stated that the purpose of verification is to authenticate that the holder of the certificate is a person who graduated from that particular institution.
