Maseru, Aug. 10 – As a response to the Prime Minister’s (PMs) call to keep the environment clean, Lesotho Electricity and Water Authority (LEWA) handed over cleaning materials to the Ministry of Defence, National Security and Environment in Maseru on Thursday.
The cleaning materials include masks, refuse bags and gloves.
Speaking at the event, the Acting Principal Secretary in the Ministry Mrs. ‘Mabataung Khalane commended LEWA for responding to the PM’s call, saying as operation ‘hloekisa Lesotho’ campaign is done every last Friday of the month, there is need for more cleaning materials.
She added that they are still expecting the business community to also contribute and partake in the cleaning campaign because it is the responsibility of all people. . .
