Maseru, Dec. 13 — Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) says it will not comment further on the reappointment of its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as this matter is currently before the courts.
This, after recent media reports which indicate that Lesotho and South Africa are locked in a fierce battle over the reappointment of LHDA CEO Mr. Tente Tente.
The press release from LHDA indicates that it acknowledges the recent media reports with regard to the above mentioned matter, stating that it will provide updates as and when appropriate, within the limits of legal considerations.
“For now, we kindly request your understanding as we allow the legal process to take its course” it adds.
