LLWP URGES FOUR COMMUNITY COUNCILS TO COOPERATE

Leribe, July. 01 — Lesotho Lowlands Water Project on Thursday urged the community councils of Maoamafubelu, Litjotjela, Hlotse Urban and Maputsoe Urban to work together in making the project a success in Leribe.

This comes after the project management has identified poor labour recruitment within all the councils except Litjotjela, which is yet to start the work.

Speaking at a one-day meeting held at Hlotse in Leribe, one of the management personnel Mrs. ‘Masetori Makhetha said the purpose of the meeting was to highlight and work on labour recruitment guidelines the councils agreed upon before the project commenced as they are receiving complaints from the people. . .
