Maseru, Mar. 10 — The National Assembly re-opened on Monday with the tabling of the report of the Portfolio Committee on the Economic and Development Cluster on the annual budget estimates of revenue and expenditure for 2025/26 financial year.
The House was closed for two weeks to allow Portfolio Committees to work on budget estimates, following the presentation of 2025/26 budget estimates by the Minister of Finance and Development Planning Dr Rets’elisitsoe Matlanyane on February 19.
The House also resolved to suspend standing order number 91(5) in respect of the report of the Portfolio Committee on the Economic and Development Cluster on the budget estimates for 2025/26 financial year. . .
