LNFOD URGES JOURNALISTS TO BE DISABILITY SENSITIVE 

Berea, Aug 03 — Lesotho National Federation’s of the Organisations of the Disabled (LNFOD) Inclusive Education Officer has called Journalists to be objective and mindful otherwise  disability sensitive  in their media reports.

Mr. Kopano Ts’ilonyane shared this narrative when presenting ways to be considered by Journalists when telling stories of the disabled, at a media training workshop currently going on in Berea.

He made an example of persons with visual impairment like himself, saying they have high listening skills, thus Journalists should avoid talking about them otherwise gossiping rather ask them when they want to know something. . .
