MAFSN ORGANIZES FLEA MARKET FOR BEREA FARMERS 

Berea, Aug 08—Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security Nutrition (MAFSN) Berea will hold a one agricultural flea market for farmers on August 21 at an open space between Passport office and Thakaneng Youths Resources Centre.

This was said by District Agricultural Officer (DAO) Mrs. Monica Hawkins during an interview with LENA on Thursday.

Mrs. Hawkins said the purpose of the event is meant to mark the 200 years of Basotho’s existence as the nation and the event will be marked under a theme, ”Breaching the pots of hunger from zero to granary”.

She pointed out that through this initiative they want farmers to change their way of doing things and adopt the smart way of enhancing production…
