Maseru, Nov. 27 – The former Energy Minister who has just been sacked out from Cabinet last night, refused to comment when interviewed by the Agency this morning.
Professor Nqosa Mahao who was sworn-in as the Minister in May this year, cited he is convening a press conference by 12 noon on Wednesday indicating he would share his side of the story about the dismissal. “Please allow me to give an in-depth of the issue at that time”, he stressed.
Meanwhile, the Government Spokesperson, Mr. Teboho Sekata confirmed Professor’s dismissal, explaining that the Prime Minister (PM) wrote a letter to him in line with Section 90 of the Constitution.
The Government Spokesperson noted that this Section of the Constitution gives provision to the PM to appoint or dismiss Cabinet Ministers when such a need arises. . .
