Mokhotlong, July 03 — Some members of the community in Masaleng say they are unaware the country is commemorating 200 years marking the existence of the Basotho nation.
They said this in an interview with the Agency today, Wednesday when asked about their preparedness towards this commemoration.
Mr. Tekeselo Maliba, a villager at Masaleng said he has no idea of what 200 years is and how they are supposed to commemorate it as they do not know what this is and what it entails.
“I have only heard on radio Lesotho people saying 200 years and have not paid much attention as I am unaware of it,” he stressed.
