MATTER NOT RIPE FOR TRIAL-JUDGE 


    

Maseru ,Aug. 28— A judge presiding over a fraud case involving over M130 million belonging to the Disaster Management Authority (DMA), Justice Maliepollo Makhetha says the matter is not ripe for trial. 

This she said on Wednesday after the court was told that there are pending issues and disagreements between the prosecution and the defence therefore the matter cannot take off as scheduled. 

The court was informed by the defence that the prosecution has not served the defence with an amended and final indictment of the case in which, among others, the name of one of the accused Makhotso Mahosi is removed as she is now deceased.
