Maseru, Sep. 19—Lesotho Football Association (LEFA) Secretary General (SG) has been appointed Match Commissioner for sold-out Al Ahly versus Zamalek Cup clash.
According to the association’s Information and Communications Manager, Mikia Kalati, Mokhosi Mohapi has been assigned by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), to oversee one of the biggest matches in the continent as the Match Commissioner when rivals Al Ahly and Zamalek of Egypt go head-to-head in the CAF Super Cup.
He said Mohapi serves on the CAF Club Licensing and Organising Committee of the CAF Inter Club Competitions.
Kalati further indicated that the sold-out affair will be played in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on September 27, and is contested by the winners of the CAF Champions League, which is Al Ahly and their rivals, Zamalek, who are the Champions of the CAF Confederations Cup.
Mohapi is a third member of the LEFA to get an appointment for a final in 2024 after Mr. Souru Phats’oane and Nteboheleng Setoko’s officiated the CAF Champions League final and CAF Women’s Champions League and COSAFA Qualifiers final respectively.
