MOTION ON FUEL, SERVICES REGULATIONS RE-ADJOURNED

Maseru, Aug. 27 — The National Assembly has once again subjected the motion on the adoption of the report on Fuel and Services Control Regulations, 2025 to standing order number 41.

This after the Minister of Energy Mr. Mohlomi Moleko proposed that the motion be disallowed as he is already addressing the amendment of some regulations with the Parliamentary Council, adding that he has also presented all required documents to the council.

On the other hand, a Member of Parliament Mr. Tello Kibane said he does not think the committee will have a problem with the amendment of the regulations as theirs is to ensure the regulations are complete before they could be passed.

Meanwhile the motion has until August 27 before it could be adopted by the House.
