Maseru, Nov. 24 — The National Aids Commission (NAC) together with its partners launched an awareness campaign ahead of commemoration of the World Aids Day on December 01.
According to Mrs. Tiisetso Piet, the aim of the launch is to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and promote a sense of unity in collective effort to this global health challenge.
She said since the COVID-19 pandemic, they have experienced an increasing number of new HIV/AIDS infections and the reason is mainly economic dependence.
