Quthing, Sept. 21 — The Areas Chiefs of Paballong Chief Molomo Nkuebe and of Ha-Mohapi Lerotholi Letsie have been nominated to represent Gazetted Chiefs in Quthing Urban Council at the nomination exercise held in the council on Thursday this week.
The two chiefs have been nominated among the Gazetted chiefs from areas within Urban Council boundaries that cover nine (9) electoral divisions.
The Nomination that has also been carried out in five community councils of the Quthing district is in five (5) community councils of Quthing line with Local Government Act of 1997 that stipulates that at least two Gazetted Chiefs be nominated to each council to represent Gazetted Chiefs from different areas within the community or urban council.
