NO DECISION YET – MOKAEANE

Maseru, Dec.14 — Following the two-day meeting between the Prime Minister Mr. Ntsokoane andPoultry Farmerss, Distributors and Suppliers association together with six cabinet ministers, Secretary of the said association has said that no decision has been reached yet.

The meetings was a follow up to the petition they presented last Friday in which they were mainly requesting the Prime Minister to order the Minister of Agriculture to issue them permits to import poultry products from South Africa especially since South Africa had reported that about 70 farms were cleared free of birds’ flu.

Mrs. Rethabile Mokaeane said that though no decision has been made, they are in the working progress saying that they will meet again on Monday next week. . .
