Maseru, June 25 – Lesotho senior soccer squad Likuena (The Crocodiles) head to Port Elizabeth on Tuesday where they will take part in this year’s edition of COSAFA Cup tournament in which they will open the competition in group C against Seychelles on Friday.
In his media briefing on Monday, Mr. Leslie Notsi who also seeks to defend his personal title of coach of the tournament award, said he was taking the tournament seriously hence he selected the majority of the players who featured in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Mr. Notsi said while other countries use this regional soccer tournament as a developmental platform to try new players, he was using it to give his charges an opportunity to display their talent in order to be scouted by international scouts. . .
